Monterubbiano is a small medieval town at an elevation of 465m above sea level.
The ocean lies at a distance of about 10km, Monte Sibillini Natural Parc at 30km, the nearest city of Fermo at 15km, and Macerata and Ascoli Piceno are at 50km distance each.
Due to the extraordinary location of the town, which permits a 360-degree view down from the hill, due to its history, its monuments, its parcs dating back to the 18th century, its theatre and its high quality of life, Monterubbiano received the special Award of Orange Band, granted by Touring Club Italia, a prestigious claim to its extraordinary touristic ambience.
Monterubbiano lies in a region rich in art, culture, and tradition, which offers a very wide range of touristic attractions: ocean and mountains, horseback excursions, visits to medieval towns, cloisters, museum - or you one just rests and enjoys the harmony and grace of the landscape...
... and on lovely summer evenings there are many, many wonderful piazzas, theatres and antique sites to be discovered.
